Massage is an important element of life which promotes peace and well-being whilst giving mindfulness in today's frantic world. Many people are on autopilot and live with stress and anxiety every day.
Taking time out for meditation, relaxation & exercise is a fundamental part of health and longevity. Our minds are forever dwelling on the past or racing into the future. It is a rare occurrence for the body and mind to relax and be totally in the present. Attuning to the present moment is being in a state of mindfulness. When we are mindful of the present moment we are able to feel refreshed and have mental clarity. Attuning to our mind and body is a practice to develop through common daily acts such as walking, eating and breathing. Holistic massage therapy and bodywork are excellent ways to encourage mindfulness. Therapeutic touch facilitates being present in the here and now. Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, assists in the release of energy blockages, and increases new vitality.
I take a holistic approach and work on the whole body to bring about balance. I treat each client individually so no two treatments are ever the same. I have been in practice for 22 years, and specialise in remedial deep tissue work, injuries, chronic imbalances, and holistic relaxation. I use energy work, trigger point deep muscle release, Thai fusion to achieve pain relief and stress management.
